If RG3 continues being as accurate as he has been, I'm not certain that there are any qbs other than Newton that he can be compared to.
if doing something stupid called for a death sentence, this board would be a fucking ghost town - Nomo.

Not the same, but people do tend to forget what a threat Steve Young was with both his arm and legs.

Historically he would be a good comparison.

Yes, this was Lupica's example and a fair one. And yes, Lupica is still an idiot. And yes, I don't really have a problem with racial comparisons either, it's only natural and shouldn't be treated as some huge statement on bigotry. Just wanting to point out to Mr.Lupica that this type of sports analysis is one area of total equality as whites athletes often get (mis)labeled in the exact same context.

I think RG3 is more Jim Harbaugh than he is Steve Young and more Kordell Stewart than he is Michael Vick or Cam Newton.

The Redskins drafting Kirk Cousins tells me that they have some doubt as well.

I took it as more that Shanahan is a moron because the 4th round rolled around and he thought, "Why don't we draft Cousins, develop him for a couple of years and then flip him for a draft pick" - which is muy stupido on their part because they're a 5-11 shitpoor team that just put the weight of the franchise on RG3's shoulders and now they've created a pointless QB controversy. If he has a couple of bad games in a row all the Skins fans are going to start chanting "Cuzz-ins...Cuzz-ins...Cuzz-ins" but it's unlikely they would have been chanting "Gross-man...Gross-man...Gross-man"

They signed Josh Morgan and Pierre Garcon, already have Santana Moss and took Leonard Hankerson early in last year's draft, so they're set at WR, but they have crap for RBs, which is what they should have given RG3 instead of Kirk freaking Cousins.
