While Nebraska is well known to have some class football fans, there is a small percentage of Cornhuskers who are rabid diehards with a "greater than thou" attitude that make the class of the other fans a moot point.

Nebraska fans are known to actually cheer for the opposing team when they leave the field! How on earth could Cornhusker fans be considered arrogant and cocky?

For some reason this small minority of Nebraska fan's attitude of superiority can be almost unbearable at times. You'd think that Tom Osborne was a saint sent from God who can magically transform the football program back to it's glory days from his athletic director's chair.

If you challenge the Nebraska kool aid drinking diehards on anything to do with some of their recent "down" years they will almost never fail to begin their response with "ya but............."

I'm not sure if that Big Red kool aid isn't heavily spiked with straight corn whiskey. Some Cornhusker's actually think they beat Texas last year!

To the arrogant and cocky die hard Nebraska fan Ndamukong Suh is the greatest college player to ever take the field. Until they are reminded of Mike Rozier, Tim Couch, or Turner Gill.

MU fans are a little dense.

Suh is the greatest player in FOOTBALL history. HE was our defense last year. Next year, he will have to be replaced with 11 guys who are pretty good.

Let me try to make it simpler for you:
Suh = 11 good players.

Last year, Suh. Next year, 11 good players.

It's not really that complicated.

Suh was VERY, VERY good, maybe the best DT to ever play in Lincoln. The D will miss him, a lot. The D will still be good enough to win the division and will still be top 10 in scoring, in the country. That's what Bo Pelini's defenses do, catch up dummy.

If you have Suh, you can take him and any 10 guys off the Chiefs and have an incredible defense.

When you lose Suh, you need to dump those 10 guys and put 11 "players" on the field.

Next year, we will have 0 Suh, but 11 Octavian's.

1 Suh = 11 Octavian's

So next year, we'll be just as good

Might as well get the sacrifice over with, becasue most QB's don't make it the full 60 minutes against a Pelini D anyway. Hell, Gabbert faked, errrr, limped all year long after playing the Bofense. Of course the "injury" seemed much worse after tossing a pick or hitting another WR in the shoes on the 5th WR screen called in a row.

I think the Chiefs are worried about havaing to add 80,000 additional seats to Arrowhead for the giant spike in attendance. Kind of like those losers in Omaha whenever Alex Gordon plays at Rosenblatt.
