Thank you to anyone who took a moment to offer prayers, or even just throw a good thought my way. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the health of my mother, my own personal health issues, and a pending loss of employment.

We have a pretty small group around here anymore, but by and large we all get along pretty well. I get the feeling that I would get along fine with any of you, even in the real world. You can take that as a good thing, or a bad.

Anyway, all the best, to all of us, in the New Year!

Both parents and my older brother in about 20 months. I suppose I come to expect it now. Nothing is a shocker anymore.

Id like some prayers for my Cousin. He got engaged this weekend for his third spin at the marriage wheel.
The only thing worse (than Renfest guy) is the RenFest itself. The collective power of so many awkward and unloved in one place is hauntingly disturbing. Emboldened by their numbers, they strut and prance, serving as a grim reminder of the theater major's ultimate future. And we hold our children close. - Rancho

Praying won't help. Sounds like he will never learn...

I posted this in the morning of the 26th. At noon, I found out that he had a Heart Attack in the morning. He was a Marine, A Father, and a brother to me and my two brothers. It was a sad funeral in KC yesterday. Semper Fi.

Sorry to hear that, Soylent. "Live every day like it matters" I should, but I don't.
